At the time that I was knee-deep in biodiesel research, bioethanol just didn't appear to be the most efficient alternative fuel source. While I'm in favor of any alt.fuel that reduces GHG emissions, I also appreciated the larger life cycle of biodiesel, how it can be sourced, and the resources that it takes to produce.
